About Me

Hi, I’m Matt and thanks for being here. I am a landscape and wildlife photographer based in Northern California, but I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. Photographing the natural world is what gets me up in the morning and keeps me up at night! My photographic journey began with a digital photography class back in 2003. From there, I have specialized in photojournalism, cityscape, landscape, travel, and wildlife photography throughout different phases of my career. I have won several photography awards and competitions in both landscape and wildlife categories. My travels have taken me to five continents and 37 U.S. National Parks. I’m on a quest to photograph Yosemite every month and document as much of the local wildlife in California as possible.
